Unique design to prevent dry plants along the edges
In common for the one piece trays, normally used for mobile bench systems, the channel design has a unique design feature that increases the water level slightly for the plants along the edges. When the water is drained from the tray, the plants along the edges will be irrigated a little longer than the other plants. This design will prevent plants close to the edges to suffer from the so called “rim effect” due to the increased ventilation along an edges. The plants will grow more uniform and the overall yield is improved.
