The HI981401N has been engineered with a host of features to meet the needs of growers in greenhouse and hydroponic applications. Housings and cable connections have been sealed against vapor and humidity and is supplied with both the HI1286 pH electrode and the HI1283 stainless steel grounding probe. This easy-to-clean probe compensates for temperature variations automatically and provides stable readings.

Engineered to withstand the aggressive environments in agricultural and hydroponic applications, the HI981401N is a simple way to measure pH. Hang the meter right above the sample to be tested for continuous measurement. The meter uses a 12 VDC power supply for uninterrupted measurement. The splash-resistant meter housing has an IP54 rating and features a large integrated LCD screen for that can be easily read from a distance.The meter is supplied with a HI1286 pH probe with a BCN connector. This double-junction, gel-filled, combination pH electrode has a unique PTFE sleeve that prevents sample particulates from clogging the junction. In addition to the specialized junction, the polyethylenimine (PEI) body protects against most of the aggressive chemicals of fertilizer solutions with high concentrations of phosphate and nitrate.
